Brixmor came to us with a challenge we hear often: we have a logo, but no larger graphic system we can use for our materials. With a new CEO’s vision, we got to work.
Brixmor is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns & operates over 400 high-quality, open-air shopping centers in the U.S.
WHAT WE DID
Branding & tagline development
Logo refresh
Identity system development
Website, graphic & tradeshow design
Photography art direction
We first defined Brixmor’s internal and external brand including personality, values & voice.
Their tone is warm and collaborative, which pairs well with their values to be the center of the communities they serve.
We built a dynamic system of elements that can be used across different media to multiple audiences.
It’s all in the details! We centered Brixmor’s logo with a more modern lettering and a geometric X that grounds the rest of the new graphic elements. The X was deconstructed to create an arrow, pattern, and speech bubble graphic elements. Along with an expanded color palette, we articulated a clear, living system for in-house designers.
We art directed photographers across the country to develop more authentic imagery that reflects the communities Brixmor serves.
We are a collective of experienced strategists and designers able to execute across a broad range of branding needs.
