Wanting to establish their reputation as a premiere ballet company, Richmond Ballet wanted a “season look”. Collaborating with RVA street artists, we got to work.
Richmond Ballet’s mission is to awaken and uplift the human spirit, both for audiences and artists.

Tapping into the thriving street art scene in Richmond, VA, we sought to make ballet accessible.
Richmond Ballet is more than just Swan Lake (though they perform, and love, that too). They have a growing New Works program bringing modern choreographers for experimental pieces, a black box theater, and a community outreach program in 26 area elementary schools. We chose six popular building murals in RVA and created a campaign with the wizardry of Aliceblue that shows whether it’s perceived high or low, we’re all one community of artists.
Anchored by an oversize newsprint brochure, we let the imagery shine.
We are a collective of experienced strategists and designers able to execute across a broad range of branding needs.
