The Richmond Forum needed a bold, refreshed identity to match the quality of its dynamic speakers. With a vision and their existing icon in place, we got to work.
The Richmond Forum brings leaders from the world stage to our stage in Richmond—to expand horizons, stimulate conversation, and inspire our community.
WHAT WE DID
Logo refresh
Identity system development
Publication design
Six speakers with six different photographs provided is a challenge when trying to create a cohesive look and feel. Using the quotation icon as a container for imagery allows us a way to create that cohesion.
Introducing patterns with quotation marks and sound waves adds another layer to the identity materials.
The combination of the six color palette, the simple, dynamic patterns, and speaker-provided imagery provides many ways the identity can be expressed.
We believe identity systems need to have room to evolve. We accomplish that by creating the right amount of creative tools (assets) in the design toolkit and building a system that operates in it’s flexibility.
We are a collective of experienced strategists and designers able to execute across a broad range of branding needs.
