marketing richmond ballet performances

Problem : Karnes Coffey was tasked with the following objectives for Richmond Ballet’s 2017/17 season: 1) create a unified look for the season; 2) bring in new, millennial audiences, and 3) increase tickets sales for each of its three main theatre shows.

Solution : Richmond is in the midst of a defining cultural resurgence with its ever-expanding, world-class restaurants, arts and craft beverage industries. The RVA landscape over the past few years has seen the addition of hundreds of murals. We collaborated with six of those mural artists to create imagery that shows Richmond Ballet as just as important of an arts phenomenon in RVA. Various print, digital and community partnerships were formed to reach out to untapped audiences.
